High Hopes
Montgomery, AL – As we move fully in to fall, my favorite time of the year, I have great anticipation of cooler days and nights and the brilliant colors of season. There is something about those crisp mornings and the beautiful colors that speaks deep into my soul. I have a rich sense of the nearness of our Lord during this time of the year.
For the farmer harvest is in full swing, the crops are going to market and he is enjoy the fruits of his labor.
I look back over the year and see how hard it has been and yet here we are AGAIN still standing having weathered all that the world has thrown at us. I am grateful for my God and all He does for His people daily.

Madison, IL – The significance of giving and receiving forgiveness is lost on today’s society. It has become the normal to hold a grudge, look for vengeance or simply talk ugly about people instead of searching our heart and realizing the debt we owe our Lord for His grace and mercy in our lives.
If there is one thing this series has brought home to me is how much we own our Father for the sacrifice of Jesus and how having our sins forgiven are much more than we can begin to imagine.

Madison, IL – We get it, grace is the key to understanding forgiveness. The evidence shows there is nothing more powerful than grace, His grace and its impact on our lives.
But forgiving is easier said than done. Yes, it’s a choice, not a feeling, but choices can be difficult. We have to work through it at times and keep forgiving even when we don’t want to. That’s what choosing is all about.

In all reality His forgiveness is the ultimate reality of grace. Grace is a concept the enemy doesn’t want us to understand.
Grace: appropriately, the free unmerited love and favor of God, the spring and source of all the benefits men receive from him.

Rising Sun, MD – Last week the charges were brought by the world against forgiving anyone for anything. It’s apparent there’s a real problem with victimhood in society and how it keeps people from moving forward.
Now it’s the defense’s turn to have His say. He will bring forward what His word says about forgiveness and why it’s so important to forgive.
